Battleship Activity: Present Continuous

Pairs of students will play the classic battleship game (aligned to common core standards). This one is to practise the present continuous by making questions.
1) Play in pairs.
2) Students pick the coordinates for all four ships (secretly!).
3) Students take turns guessing where their partner's ships are by making questions.
4) If they hit their ship they answer: Yes, they are/ Yes, she is, etc. If they miss they
answer: NO, you aren't/No, she isn't, etc.
5) The first player to sink all of the ships wins!
